One of the biggest CSR initiatives by the Bank is the Annual Autism Workshop and Consultations, a five-day event which brings together specialists, consultants and partner organizations from Canada, the United Kingdom, United States, Nigeria and Ghana that are specialized in areas of Speech Therapy, Behaviour Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Special Education Needs Specialty, Psychiatry, etc. This program is specially designed to provide support to people, especially children, living with Autism, their families and caregivers in our communities.
Currently, the Bank is embarking on a nationwide refurbishment and stocking of computer laboratories of Junior High Schools. Some of the beneficiary schools so far are the Ayi Mensah Basic School, Anumle Cluster of Schools, Bethel AME Zion Junior High School, Bosomase Basic School and the Atonsu M/A Cluster of Schools, Effiduase Presbyterian Basic School and the Ho Polytechnic Basic School.
Other notable CSR projects undertaken are the renovation of the Amenity Ward of the Accident Centre, Korle-bu Teaching Hospital; the GTBank Super Zonal Championship for Senior High Schools in Accra, Renovation of Ridge Hospital Maternity Theatre and support for the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage floods at Mepe and surrounding areas.
