Herbert is a consummate entrepreneur who has over the past 26 years developed and successfully managed and still manages several businesses both in Nigeria, where he is based, as well as in Ghana along with a plethora of shrewd investments in several A grade companies in these two countries and abroad.

He also promoted and successfully launched First Atlantic Merchant Bank Limited, General Leasing and Finance Company Limited, and Vodi

Technik Motors, an auto dealership with the Ghanaian franchise for VW and Skoda and Allied Investments Limited (all in Ghana) as well as KMC Investments Limited and First Security Discount House Limited, UBA Plc in Nigeria.                                                                                 Herbert’s business interests traverse the Oil and Gas, Banking, Automobile and Telecommunications sectors. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Shield Petroleum Company Limited, a petroleum products trading company based in Lagos, Nigeria with branches in other West African countries and the United Kingdom.

As the Ghanaian joint venture partner, Herbert retains a significant shareholding and Directorship in the Ghanaian subsidiary of South Africa’s leading oil and chemical marketing company, Engen Petroleum as well as other directorships in several companies in Ghana and Nigeria.
